Raffle Rules

1. Each ticket will cost $100.00. One person per ticket. The prize shall be taken in the name as it appears on the ticket stub. The prize shall be in the name on the Raffle ticket stub and is not transferable or assignable without permission of The First Tee, Montgomery County.
2. The prize may be redeemed for $5,000.00 in cash.
3. No more than 500 tickets will be sold.
4. Individual purchasers of Raffle tickets must be 18 years of age or older.
5. Each numbered Raffle ticket stub will be placed in the Raffle ticket container.
6. The First Tee, Montgomery County shall appoint a single individual who will be responsible for maintaining control and security of all of the Raffle ticket stubs. Such individual shall, by public certification under oath at the time of the drawing, certify that all Raffle tickets purchased have their stub in the container of stubs where the winning Raffle ticket will be drawn.
7. The public drawing will be on Monday, September 13, 2010 at The First Tee, Montgomery County’s Marilyn Memorial Golf Tournament. Drawing Location: Laytonsville Golf Course, 7130 Dorsey Road, Laytonsville, MD 20882. You may attend the drawing.
8. You need not be present to win.
9. Winners will be notified by phone and certified mail with return receipt requested by October 12, 2010.
10. The Raffle Winner must claim prize within four (4) weeks of the Raffle drawing date or a new winner will be selected.
11. Travel is based on availability. Winner will work with designated travel agent of The First Tee to make travel arrangements.
12. Prize must be redeemed by December 31, 2011.
13. The Raffle winner is responsible for any applicable taxes.
14. This is a tax deductible contribution unless you purchase the winning ticket.
15. The Raffle is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and is void wherever prohibited or restricted by law.
16. Proceeds of the Raffle are for the benefit of The First Tee, Montgomery County.
